Any (B.Ed / M.Ed) teaching professionals with work experience in teaching profile may apply for the fellowship. Non-Teaching (Graduates/ Post Graduates) professionals with 3+ year of teaching experience may also apply for the fellowship.
After Initial round of interviews on – the – job (coaching / training) will be provided while you teach (as a full time teacher) in a Private English Medium School.
Teacher will be placed with one of our 100+ partner schools ( within 8 km from their residence).
Stipend of Rs. 8,000/- per month will be paid after joining our partner school (during the fellowship program).
Certifications, Reward & Recognition (Based on performance) will be provided by various partner Institutions working in the Educational Sector during the fellowship.
After successful completion of 1 year fellowship program the teacher will be transferred to the school.

Affordable Private schools in India today, suffer from abysmal student learning outcomes due to ineffective recruitment, coaching and training mechanisms. To address this very challenge, iTeach recruits (fresh) graduates with the highest potential for its (one year) Fellowship and places them in Affordable Private schools as full time teachers. Taking Pune as a representative city, with 1400 Affordable Private schools and 1000 poorly prepared teachers graduating every year, the problem is massive yet aching to be addressed. iTeach aims to solve this at significant scale, attempting to enroll 200 graduates every year in each city, and then expanding to more cities.
iTeach Fellowship has 3 key focus areas – recruitment, training and retention. For recruitment, we conduct campus drives at teacher education colleges, followed by a selection process based on the most relevant competencies required for strong teaching. We refine this selection process based on research, our own internal data and inputs from school principals. Post selection, our program team takes over starting with a 3 week intense pre-service induction. This induction lays the foundation for a strong culture, and starts addressing the largest teacher skill gaps. Next the teachers start in school, with constant hands-on coaching and regular skill building workshops. As the year progresses, the majority of training moves online, allowing us to reach many teachers at low cost. The year is also punctuated with learning circles and retreats, along with a rewards and recognition program to keeps teachers motivated. At the end of the academic year we transfer the teacher from iTeach to the school itself.
